Rajamahendravaram: Municipal Commissioner V Vijaya Ramaraju inaugurated an exhibition of Andhra Pradesh Handicrafts Development Corporation Limited (Lepakshi) at TTD Kalyanamandapam here on Thursday. This exhibition-cum-sale will be open till August 2.

Vijaya Ramaraju said that the government was encouraging the handicrafts and also providing pensions to artists. Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation is planning handicrafts exhibition throughout the year on its premises with a nominal fee, he said and requested the Lepakshi officials to continue the exhibition till the conclusion of Godavari Antya Pushkaralu.
