Amaravati: Civil Supplies Minister Paritala Sunitha urged the teachers to improve academic standards in the government schools. She said that the government was according top priority to education, and had started English schools in municipalities.

MLA A S Rama Krishna said that the government had taken steps to pay salaries to the aided teachers on the first of every month. MLA G Eswari stressed on the need to take up agitation to solve problems of the teachers. She extended her cooperation to solve problems of the teachers. APTF Guntur district president K Raghuram presided over the meeting.
