Visakhapatnam: The Indian Medical Association as part of its Rise and Shine Campaign organised Continued Medical Education (CME) programme on the growing epidemics of Vitamin-D deficiency amongst Indian population in Bhimavaram area.
IMA National president Dr S S Agarwal and honorary secretary general Dr K K Agarwal said that Vitamin-D plays a vital role in calcium and bone metabolism and protects the body from cognitive disorders, diabetes, cancer and CVDs.
