Anantapur: As a part of Corporate Social Responsibility, the BIT Institute of Technology management organised a free notebook
distribution programme in Hindupur on Saturday.

More than 600 students from Rachapalli, Beerepalli, Chinna Guddam Palli, Pedda Guddam Palli, Kaggallu and Subbarayani Palli villages
attended the programme. The students expressed happiness over the assistance. A total of 3,500 books and 500 slates were distributed
Chief guest of the programme Mallikarjuna, a motivational speaker from Bengaluru, stressed the importance of mother, father and teacher
in our life. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Chandra Mohan felt sad about the closure of government schools now-a-days and stressed the
importance of education. He said that he had been donating books to students of government schools for the last six years.

BIT principal Dr A Ramesh, campus manager Prof Sudarshan, HODs, head masters and teachers of government schools participated in the
programme.
