Hyderabad: The Leader of Opposition of Andhra Pradesh YS Jaganmohan Reddy is leaving for Delhi, along with key party leaders, on Monday to persuade the Centre to grant Special Category Status to the State.
He will meet President Pranab Mukherjee at 6.45 pm and explain to him about the Centre’s refusal on the issue and how the residuary State will be affected by the Centre’s decision.
Jagan will also meet several national party leaders who are extending support to the cause.
