Hyderabad: After a long gap, the Chief Ministers of two Telugu-speaking States, Union Ministers and several other dignitaries attended the ‘At Home’ hosted by Governor E S L Narasimhan on the occasion of 70th Independence Day at Raj Bhavan here on Monday.

Telangana State Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Assembly Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, Union Ministers Bandaru Dattatreya, Sujana Chowdary and other dignitaries were present at the ‘At Home’ at Raj Bhavan.

The Governor couple played perfect hosts for the evening by greeting guests and exchanging pleasantries with dignitaries on the occasion. During the last couple of events at Raj Bhavan, Chief Minister of either the Telangana or the AP had stayed away, but on Monday both of them were present. The two Chief Ministers - KCR and Naidu - even shared a few words in the presence of the Governor in the evening.
