Vijayawada flight makes emergency landing

An Air India plane, with over 100 passengers and crew onboard, from Vijayawada on Wednesday made an emergency landing at the IGI airport in New Delhi due to a technical glitch in the aircraft. The aircraft, an Airbus A-319, landed safely and all passengers were safe, official sources said.

Full emergency was declared at 11:15 am for Air India flight AI-460 coming to Delhi from Vijayawada after the pilot informed Delhi Air Traffic Control about some issues on the plane's engine. The plane landed safely at about 11:20 am, and passengers and crew all were reported to be safe.
