Competition in kolatam, bhajan
The NTR Kalaparishad in Ongole is inviting applications for the competition in kolatam and brindavan bhajan as part of its 18th anniversary celebrations
Ongole: The NTR Kalaparishad in Ongole is inviting applications for the competition in kolatam and brindavan bhajan as part of its 18th anniversary celebrations which are scheduled for January, 2017. Nalluri Venkateswarlu, the Kalaparishad member said, “The anniversary celebrations of Kalaparishad last for more than one month every year.
This year we will organise competitions in folk art. We see this competition as a promotion of folklore and culture of our land.” The interested teams should have a dress code and contain 30 members. They should perform kolatam or brindavan bhajan for one hour. The organisers categorised the participants into seniors and juniors.
The interested teams should send their applications to Edara Haribabu, NTR Kalaparishad, Camp office of ZP Chairman, Santhapet, Ongole by November 30.
