Pawan to undertake Padayatra from Anantapur
Actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan has decided to take up Padayatra in Anantapur district from where he proposes to contest the 2019 elections to get first hand information about the problems being faced by the people in general and farmers in particular.

Hyderabad: Actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan has decided to take up Padayatra in Anantapur district from where he proposes to contest the 2019 elections to get first hand information about the problems being faced by the people in general and farmers in particular.
Speaking at a meeting with a team of youngsters who had come to his house from Anantapur to display their talent in oratory and script writing skills on Sunday, Pawan reiterated that he would contest from the backward district in the next election. The Jana Sena leader also hinted that he would stop acting in the films temporarily to pursue his political career full time in the future. Pawan clarified that he is doing films only to feed his family and people who depend on him.
Pawan took strong exception to the criticism from opposition parties that he had plunged into politics as a part time profession. He accused many leaders in the parties of misusing their political career for economic gains and amassing wealth for their next generations.He said his only aim was to stand by the people and solve their problems.
