Instead, his body is coming plunging his parents and other family members into depths of sorrow. Adluri Sai Kumar, of SBR Puram village in Vadamalapet mandal near Puttur died in a road accident in the US on Saturday night.
Sai Kumar, elder son of Chandrasekhar Raju and Suhasini, was pursuing MS programme in Illinois University. They have one more son Mohan Vamsi.
Sai Kumar completed B.Tech in Chennai and went to the USA for higher studies. On Saturday night, he went to participate in the birthday celebrations of his friend in a car. After the function, he left for the university.
As he reached the university, his car was hit by another car from back side, killing Sai Kumar on the spot. The information reached his family members on Sunday evening.
Relatives and well-wishers had a tough time in controlling the parents of Sai Kumar. Some 40-50 students belonging to that area were studying in America.
Information was sent to them and they were looking after the arrangements to send the body to India. The family members are also seeking the help of MLC Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu in this regard.
The MLA conveyed the news to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu who in turn spoke to the officials concerned in New Delhi to bring the body to his native place without much delay.
The parents were inconsolable and they were repeatedly remembering their son’s voice who said that he would come to India within three months after completing the MS course.
Muddukrishnama Naidu visited the bereaved parents and assured all help. Minister for IT and panchayat raj Nara Lokesh also consoled them over phone. The body of Sai Kumar may reach the village by Thursday.
