G Sirisha elected TDP district chief
G Sirisha was elected TDP district president while S Chinnikrishnam Naidu as general secretary unopposed. Similarly, five leaders were appointed as vice-presidents, 12 as secretaries, eight elected as organising secretaries. Election for 13 affiliated unions was also held.

Party election observers G Suryarao and T Jayaprakash Goud, including district In-Charge Minister and TDP Srikakulam MP segment party observer Pithani Satyannarayana, elicited opinion from the party leaders at various levels and interacted with the assembly segment wise leaders prior to the election.
Minister K Atchannaidu, Zilla Parishad chairperson Ch Dhanalaxmi,Government Whip Kuna Ravi Kumar, MP K Rammohan Naidu, MLC S Vijayarama Raju, MLAs GSS Sivaji, G Laxmidevi, B Ashok, B Ramanamurthy, K V Ramana and former MLC K Prathibharathi and other leaders were present. Newly elected body takes oath on May 20 during the Mini- Mahanadu, said election observers.
