Mould students as per industry requirements
A six-day faculty improvement programme organised by Andhra Pradesh Skill Development Corporation (APSDC) at Simons Excellency Centre of Vasireddy Venkatadri Inistitute of Technology concluded here on Saturday, said college chairman Vasireddy Vidya Sagar.
Guntur: A six-day faculty improvement programme organised by Andhra Pradesh Skill Development Corporation (APSDC) at Simons Excellency Centre of Vasireddy Venkatadri Inistitute of Technology concluded here on Saturday, said college chairman Vasireddy Vidya Sagar.
Andhra Pradesh Skill Development Centre chief adviser Dr P Trimurthy was the chief guest. Addressing the faculty, he asked them to strive for acquiring knowledge and improve teaching skills. He asked the faculty to mould the students according to the needs of industries so that they would get better employment.
The chairman said that they have been organising workshops and seminars for the benefit of students and faculty.
College in-charge principal Dr N Kumara Swamy lauded the efforts of APSDC.Technical experts, officials, college secretary S Badiri Prasad, coordinator R Naveen and various departments heads attended the event.
