Rajamahendravaram: Former MP of Rajamahendravaram Vundavalli Arun Kumar demanded that the State government release a white paper on the implementation of AP Re-organisation Act.He mentioned that during the last three years, Centre has not done anything to the state and wondered how it will fulfill the aspirations of the State.

He reminded that in the first year after the division of the State, the Union government was supposed to provide an assistance of Rs 16,000 crore to AP to help it overcome the fiscal deficit. But the Centre sanctioned only Rs 7,000 crore.
He however welcomed the request made by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to extend 108 clause for another two years.
Speaking to reporters here on Saturday, Arun Kumar opined that Opposition Leader Y S Jaganmohan Reddy might have met Prime Minister Narendra Modi as part of coalition politics.

He said that the reactions of Telugu Desam Party leaders including Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu after Jagan met Modi were ridiculous. He maintained that Jagan announced that the country needs people like Modi when he was released on bail in 2013 and then when Modi became Prime Minister, he openly supported him. When asked about the YSRCP leader giving unconditional support to NDA government in forthcoming Presidential election without raising the Special Category Status (SCS) issue, he said that Jagan and his party might have decided not to link these two issues.
