BJP not against Muslims: M Venkaiah Naidu

Union minister for urban development M Venkaiah Naidu on Thursday made it clear that a campaign was going on against BJP to separate minorities, especially Muslims from the party. Addressing booth-level party cadres at a massive gathering here, Naidu said that Indian constitution guarantees equal rights for all citizens and minorities were no exception.
Vijayawada: Union minister for urban development M Venkaiah Naidu on Thursday made it clear that a campaign was going on against BJP to separate minorities, especially Muslims from the party. Addressing booth-level party cadres at a massive gathering here, Naidu said that Indian constitution guarantees equal rights for all citizens and minorities were no exception. “They could enjoy all fruits of freedom along with others. It was for votes some parties had been trying to divide people on communal lines,” he added. He added that BJP was the only party that never believed in dividing people on communal lines. Stating that for BJP, ideology was strength, he called upon the cadre to spread the message at grassroots level.
