Kurnool: District Superintendent of Police (SP) Ake Ravi Krishna on Wednesday felicitated retired police staff at command control room here on Wednesday. Seven retired police personnel were invited to command control room where the SP and his mother Ake Ratna Mala and his wife Ake Parvathi felicitated them and distributed cheques. Speaking on the occasion, Ravi Krishna said retirement is compulsory to every employee.

“Police job is one of the toughest one in the world and it needs lots of patience and mental balance to serve the society. Needless to say, police staff has to undergo lot of stress while performing duties,” he stated. The SP said it gives him immense pleasure to interact with the family members of the police personnel.

He assured them of extending retirement benefits soon. Ravi Krishna asked the retired police personnel to imparting training to cops by joining in the police training centre. The retired police personnel, who attended the programme, with their family members, thanked the SP for felicitating them. Additional SP Shaik Sha Vali, DSP DV Ramana Murthy, Administrative Officer Abdul Salam, Circle Inspectors, Reserve Sub Inspectors and other police officials have participated in the felicitation programme.
