With Telangana celebrating the third anniversary of the statehood, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said the state is yet to come to terms with the bifurcation.

Andhra Pradesh government organised Nava Nirmana Deeksha in Vijayawada on Friday where Chandrababu took the pledge to rebuild the state with the people and vowed to take AP to greater heights depite reeling under the after effects of bifurcation.

Calling June 2 as a 'black day' in the history of Andhra Pradesh, the Chief Minister protested against the manner the state was bifurcated and urged people to dedicate themselves to rebuild the state. He informed that the state government has organised the 'Nava Nirmana Deeksha' in all the towns and villages as a protest.

Recalling the bifurcation bill getting passed in Parliament where the TDP MPs were attacked for protesting, Chandrababu alleged that Congress President Sonia Gandhi divided the state on the independence day of her home country, Italy.
