YSRCP district convenor and MLA K Narayana Swamy slammed Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for failing to fulfil the poll promises even after completing 3 years in power. He alleged that the TDP government is organising week-long Nava Nirmana Deeksha from Friday onwards to cover up its failures.

To highlight the lapses of the TDP government, Narayana Swamy stated that the YSRCP would organise mandal-level awareness programmes from next Monday onwards. Speaking to The Hans India, the YSRCP leader said that the Chief Minister has no moral right to continue in his post as he encouraged defection of MLAs. Palamaner MLA and Industries Minister N Amarnath Reddy had defected to the TDP at the behest of Chandrababu, he added.
Narayana Swamy exuded confidence of YSRCP coming to power in 2019. The MLA said that the TDP government had failed to provide drinking water to several mandals in the district. Even, villages in the Kuppam Assembly constituency represented by the Chief Minster are facing water scarcity, he said.
The YSRCP leader found fault with the TDP government for cancelling the comprehensive drinking water scheme sanctioned to district by the then Congress government with an outlay of Rs 7,500 crore. He assured of YSRCP president Jaganmohan Reddy reviving the scheme once he comes to power.
