IT and Panchayati Raj Minister Nara Lokesh on Wednesday is all set to participate in Visa cashless programme in Visakhapatnam.

The Andhra Pradesh Government has signed an agreement with Visa company at Davos to make Vizag the first cashless city in India.

Apart from promoting cashless transactions in government and private offices, the Visa will also cater to other activities including retail businesses.

Nara Lokesh will be signing the agreement ANSR company and APIIC at Novatel today. 10 acres of land has been allocated to ANSR in Vizag while the firm will invest Rs 1,000 crore and create 10,000 jobs in the next 10 years.
