Vijayawada: YSRCP Krishna district president and former minister K Parthasarathi on Thursday demanded that the government come forward and order for the CBI probe into the leakage of water at the chambers of party chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy at the Assembly.

He alleged the government had wasted crores of rupees for the construction of the Secretariat and Assembly with very poor quality works. He challenged the TDP government to probe into the water leakage episode with the CBI. K Parthasarathi spoke to the newsmen at the district party office here on Thursday.

Referring to the TDP rule, he alleged that N Chandrababu Naidu gave 600 assurances before the polls to the people, but failed to fulfil not even one after coming to power. The YSRCP leader reminded that during the tenure of YS Rajasekhar Reddy he had agreed for the CBI inquiry into the Volkswagon and other issues,

but the TDP government is not coming forward to investigate the poor quality works. He alleged the Telugu Desam government resorted to many irregularities and swindled hundreds of crores rupees in the projects like Pattiseema and others.
