Vijayawada: APEAMCET-2017 Chief Camp Officer Vishwanatha Reddy said that the Certificate Verification and Counselling (CVC) process had started on June 8 and would conclude on June 20, and three centres were allocated in Krishna district. He said that CVC has started at 35 various centres in the state from 9 am on Thursday.

Reddy spoke to the media on Thursday at the Government Polytechnic College, Vijayawada and said that the certificate verification and counselling process had started at Government Polytechnic, SRR and CVR College and Andhra Loyola College (ALC).

He said that CVC process for special category candidates PHV, PHH, PHO, Anglo Indian and NCC from all over the state for all ranks was held at Government polytechnic, Vijayawada, for rank 1 to 8000 thousand ranks general category CVC was held as per the schedule given on the official website, he said.

He said that Technical Collegiate Education Commissioner Panda Das visited the centre and enquired about the proceedings of CVC, he added. He said that for the first time fee payment was done through online digital transaction. He said that in all 1,41,000 students qualified in the EAMCET exam and about one lakh students are expected to attend the CVC process by June 20.

He further said that after the CVC process was over the candidates can choose Change of Options on June 21 and 22, on June 25 they would release the allotments online, he added. He said that a helpline centre was provided to solve any issues related to CVC and candidates can call toll free numbers 8340888001, 2, 3, 4.
