Team Freak-out from Bangalore provided lot of adventure activities. Two para motors were used to entertain guests, informed Vamshi of Freak-out, a Bangalore based adventure Sports Company.

He said, “We go up to a maximum of 1500 metres height. Rides depend on wind conditions. Each of the para motors cost Rs 15 lakh. We don’t fly para motors, if wind condition is not favourable.

We have recently introduced aero sports like para-sailing. zippline, rappelling, camping and para motoring will be introduced on a regular basis after this rainy season at Orvakal.”

A couple from Hyderabad, Dr Narasimha Rao and his wife Dr Radhika who are on a trip to Orvakal Punnami full moon festival said that it has given them immense pleasure and described the tour as a most memorable experience.

They also said that it is a different experience to be staying in tents. Shirley, Patrick and Pooja who came down from Bangalore shared their excitement with The Hans India and said, though adventure sports are common, but in the surroundings of historic rocks added all the more excitement to them.

The other attractions include tethered hot air balloon ride, rock climbing, river crossing, indoor bungee trampoline, rappelling, zipline/flying, water walking, rope courses, rock trek, para motoring, mash machine and many more sports enthralled the visitors.

Deputy Chief Minister K E Krishnamurthy who participated as a chief guest at the inaugural function of Punnami full moon festival at Orvakal Rock Garden on Friday night said that the rock gardens of Orvakal are unique and distinct.

He also said that an airport is likely to come up at Orvakal very soon. He said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu would lay foundation stone for the construction of airport on June 21.

Tourism Minister Bhuma Akhila Priya said that she was given the Department of Tourism which is her favorite one. She said that she will strive to develop Andhra Pradesh as Tourism hub. Kurnool is the home town of several ancient temples and they would be developed to attract more number of tourists.
