Speaking on he occasion, the Union Minister has highlighted 103 welfare schemes being taken up the central government. Prakash Nadda lauded the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for recognising Polavaram project as national project.

“The government is spending Rs 250 crore for eradicating polio and leprosy. As many as 20,000 villages have been provided with power supply. About 2 crore people are given LPG connections,” he added.

The Minister assured of sanctioning of funds for construction of Cancer Hospital in Kurnool. RDO Obulesu, BJP district president Harish Babu, vice-president Gudise Sivanna, former MLA Prakash Jain, town president K Naga Raju and
others were present.
