Hernia surgery workshop held

Apollo Hospital doctors conducted a Hernia surgery workshop here on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion, doctors said that Hernia was a very common disease and it can be cured by surgery. They explained the difference between performing surgery through normal incision and through laparoscopic method.

Post surgical recovery is fast, said doctors and added that poor people can avail the facility at the hospital. Prominent surgeons and medical students attended the workshop. Coordinator Dr Prasanna Kumar Reddy,organising secretaries Dr Sai Mahesh,Dr Rajashekar , Dr Jameel and other doctors participated in the workshop.
