Couple commit suicide in Guntur, husband survives

A couple committed suicide in a private lodge in Guntur on Monday. According to the reports, the couple Vasundhara Babu and Mahima hailed from Cobalt Nagar in Guntur and were married for a year.

However, disappointed over the fact that their parents were not willing to accept their marriage or talk them even after a year, the couple committed suicide in a lode in Arundalpet.

Police found a suicide note in the lodge. While Mahima was declared dead, Vasundhara Babu has survived and is undergoing treatment in the hospital. Police are planning to question Vasundhara Babu on this regard. Further details are awaited.
