Guntur: Brahmin leaders under the aegis of Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Sankshema Samakhya staged a protest at flyover bridge at Brodipet in the city on Wednesday for removing IYR Krishna Rao as AP Brahmin Welfare Corporation chairman.
Addressing a gathering, the association state president Muttanapalli Siva Krishna Prasad said that IYR Krishna Rao was sacked without asking explanation. He said TDP had failed to give single MLA ticket to Brahmins in the recently held MLA elections. He questioned why other parties giving MLA tickets to Brahmins.
Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Samkshema Samakhya leaders K.Maruti, S.Srinivas, Kota Subramanyam were among those participated.
