Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials unearthed Rs 1.20 crore (official value) worth assets disproportionate to known sources of income of Nakka Suresh, deputy project engineer in Rural Electricity Coop Society (RECS), Parawada and Munagapaka sections on Wednesday.
Visakhapatnam: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials unearthed Rs 1.20 crore (official value) worth assets disproportionate to known sources of income of Nakka Suresh, deputy project engineer in Rural Electricity Coop Society (RECS), Parawada and Munagapaka sections on Wednesday.
Suresh was already arrested on June 9 while accepting bribe and was produced before the ACB court, Visakhapatnam on June 10. He was caught while demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 3 lakh cash and five cheques worth Rs 6 lakh from a complainant. The tainted official has been remanded till July 23.
