Protests launched against YSRCP MLA Roja over comments on Chandrababu
YSR Congress party MLA RK Roja who flayed Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu over the liquor policy in the state was at the receiving end of the Telugu women association who staged protests against her statements in Tirupati on Wednesday.

Under the Telugu women association president Pushpavati, women in large numbers staged protests and slogans against her. They even burnt Roja's effigy on the road.
Speaking to the media in this regard, Pushpavati said that the YSRCP MLA's comments have put all the women in the Telugu states in shame.
Stating that Roja is a public servant yet she cannot keep her words in check, the Telugu women association president condemned her beer and bar comments further advising her to limit her concerns about the issue within the limits.
