Tirupati: Railway Board Chairman AK Mittal will inaugurate the 50-bedded railway hospital established at the Carriage Repair Shop (CRS) in Renigunta on July 14. As part of his two-day visit on July 13 and July 14, Mittal will inaugurate the hospital constructed at a cost of Rs 3.50 crore with two floors (G+1).

It will provide services to 1,200 and odd employees of CRS who were finding it difficult to get medical facilities in the existing 10 bedded hospital. South Central Railway, Guntakal, DRM Amithab Ozha visited the hospital on Wednesday to oversee the arrangements for inaugural function.

He was accompanied by Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Ch Rakesh, Railway Divisional Security Commissioner Elisha and Liaison Officer K Satyanarayana. The DRM also inspected the first platform and gave instructions to the authorities.
