He said a panel discussion would be held and the topics would be Traffic and transportation problems in cities, Concept of compact city and its impact on travel demand, Land use transport integration, Concept of Transit Oriented Development (ToD) and mixed land use in achieving sustainable transportation solutions, Appropriate public transport system for our cities, Addressing last mile and first mile connectivity, Disruptive technologies like autonomous vehicles, Mobile navigation technologies, Hyper loop etc can help in sustainable transportation, Achieving the desired efficiency through traffic management measures like area traffic control, grade separated intersections.
