Rahul Bhardwaj has assumed charge as Executive Director of Indian Oil Corporation for AP and Telangana on Monday. An Engineering graduate from Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur with a Masters in Business Administration (Finance) from R.A.Podar Institute of Management, Jaipur, Bhardwaj has had a long and stint at Indian Oil Corporation Limited in various capacities.

He has served as the CEO, Indian Oil (Mauritius) Limited, a subsidiary of Indian Oil in the Republic of Mauritius. Competing with well entrenched western oil majors provided him with invaluable hands–on experience in the areas of marketing and business development.
As Regional Head of Aviation Fuel Marketing in Southern Region he optimised the Aviation fuelling operations, introduced modern and contemporary practices in aviation fuelling, enhanced customer satisfaction and achieved best cost optimisation amongst all regions.
