Bharath Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) Employees’ and Officers Joint Action Forum staged a one-day hunger strike demanding solution to their problems near BSNL Bhavan at Chuttugunta in Vijayawada on Thursday. Large number of officers and employees attended the hunger strike and raised slogans for resolving the problems.

Large number of officers and employees attended the hunger strike and raised slogans for resolving the problems.
Progressive Democratic Front (PDF) MLC Boddu Nageswara Rao, CITU state secretary P Ajay Kumar attended to the one-day hunger strike.
Speaking on the occasion MLC Boddu Nageswara Rao expressed his dissatisfaction over the Union government policies, which were threatening employees. “These policies were helping private sector,” he alleged.He demanded immediate suspension of orders limiting BSNL trade unions activities.
