The woman, Sravani, is battling between life and death at the Area Hospital in Mancherial. According to reports, a vagabond Sagar harassed Sravani, who was a college lecturer at Mancherial, in the name of love, but she refused his offer. However, after Sagar threatened to commit suicide, she agreed to be his friend.

Misusing the trust, she had reposed, a month ago he forcibly married her but, Sravani refused to live with him. Lodging a complaint with the Bellampalli ACP Satish, Sagar sought police help to mend his relationship with his wife. Satish counselled Sravani and asked her to go and live with Sagar. Sravani then filed a complaint with the Commissioner of Police Duggal at Ramagundam, who called up Satish and told him to stop harassing her.

Meanwhile, Sagar uploaded some morphed images of Sravani on Facebook and WhatsApp. An insulted Sravani took the extreme step and accused Sagar and Satish in her suicide note. She quoted that the ACP had threatened her to live with Sagar otherwise he would remand her elder brother in custody.

Parents and relatives of Sravani are demanding the higher police authorities to take action against the ACP.
