English medium at two Anganwadi centres
Vijayawada Municipal Corporation gave a facelift two Anganwadi centres at Rajeevnagar and Gunadala and made elaborate arrangements to teach in English medium.

Nursery, LKG and UKG classes would be introduced at these Anganwadi centres and these two-centers were set up on the VMC primary school premises.
These centres were decorated with wall paints which are attracting kids and provided chairs, tables, LED TV, gas stove and other facilities. Three rooms were allotted to these centres and which would be inaugurated soon.
Each room has four-tables, 24-chairs, and LED TVs, he said. As many as 120 Anganwadi centres were merged and formed into 40, he explained.
Special training has been given to the Anganwadi teachers as they would teach in English for Nursery, LKG and UKG students, he pointed out.
