Officials told to prepare designs for houses
District Collector Kartikeya Mishra on Friday directed the officials to prepare layouts and designs for houses to be constructed under the Prime Minister Awas Yojana and NTR Housing Scheme in eight municipalities for the beneficiaries.

Collector says 19,242 houses will be constructed in first phase in eight municipalities in the district
In a review meeting with all municipal commissioners, tahsildars and Andhra Pradesh Township and Infrastructure Development Corporation (APTIDCO), Mishra said in total 19,242 houses would be constructed in first phase.
He said the list of identified sites in Rajamahendravaram, Peddapuram, Kakinada, Mandapeta, Amalapuram, Samalkot and Pithapuram for housing was given to APTIDCO. The Collector instructed all the municipal commissioners to collect the beneficiaries’ share of amount on or before July 31.
