Avail postal services, people urged
Post Master General (PMG) of Rayalaseema region, TM Srilatha urged the people to avail the services and benefits of the Postal department. She said that the department is providing speedy and transparency services to the customers. The PMG said these words after launching the core system integrator at Head Post Office here on Monday.

She said Kurnool Post Office is the first one to get the core system integrator. With the launching of core system integrator, the PMG stated that work could be carried out speedily and in a transparency mode. Mail system will offer reliable mail delivery services by improving article tracking and volume visibility through the core system integrator, she added.
The Human Resources (HR) management will maintain a single repository of employee data and improve HR administration activities like recruitment, training, promotion, pay roll and performance management, she added.
She further said the core system integrator will also provide an internal portal which will allow the employees to perform self-service transactions such as applying for leave, view and edit personal data. Besides, core system integrator will help in automation of accounting operations and will also bring efficiency in day-to-day business areas like cash management, accounting, budgeting, inventory management procurement and liability management.
Even, customer services through web portal and mobile devices is possible with the core system integrator, she added. Postal Superintendent KV Subba Rao, Deputy Superintendent of Posts Basha and other officials were present on the occasion.
