District Superintendent of Police (SP) Attada Babujee launched a unique concept called Locked House Monitoring System (LHMS) app here on Wednesday. The LHMS app meant for preventing burglaries in locked houses when inmates leave outstation.

Kadapa: District Superintendent of Police (SP) Attada Babujee launched a unique concept called Locked House Monitoring System (LHMS) app here on Wednesday. The LHMS app meant for preventing burglaries in locked houses when inmates leave outstation.

The house owners should download LHMS App and register their addresses and mobile numbers. Once they registered, they will get an One Time Password (OTP). Later, the house owner should click verify OTP for securing login ID which should be keep secret.

Whenever house owners are planning to leave outstation, they can inform police through LHMS app in three days advance. The police will fix CCTV cameras in front of the locked houses to monitor movement of burglars. The SP said that the service is free of cost.
