Vaccination for 7.23 lakh kids from Aug 1

District Collector R Mutyala Raju said 7.23 lakh children would be vaccinated from August 1 to September 8 in the district. He said 5,798 teams have been formed for administering vaccines.
Nellore: District Collector R Mutyala Raju said 7.23 lakh children would be vaccinated from August 1 to September 8 in the district. He said 5,798 teams have been formed for administering vaccines.
He released poster at the camp office here on Wednesday and said the teams would vaccinate the students of government and private educational institutions, Anganwadi centres in the age group of 9 months to 15 years.
The activity would be implemented through 75 primary health centres and 12 CM health centres in the district. DMHO Dr C Varasundaram, DEO Ramalingam and Deputy Director of Social Welfare Madhusudan Rao were present.
