Pawan Kalyan to visit Vizag, finalise ‘Deeksha’ schedule

Visakhapatnam: Actor and founder president of Jana Sena, Pawan Kalyan, who will be here on Sunday, will finalise the dates for conducting the mass rally Dakshina Bharat Atmagaurava Deeksha next month.

The programme will be held at RK Beach.Local Jana Sena leaders, enraged over denial of permission to hold a silent rally for special category status on Republic Day this year, are determined to make the Deeksha a grand success.

Vizag leader of Jana Sena Satish Kumar said some senior members of Sena will be closeted with Pawan Kalyan after he completes Uddanam tour and decide on the dates. ``But there will no discussion on Kapu reservation for which an agitation is going on,’’ Satish Kumar said.

Satish said Pawan Kalyan will arrive on Sunday morning and meet the doctors’ team from Harvard. The doctors after a brief meeting in Andhra Medical College would leave for Borivanka village under Srikakulam district at 10 am. The meeting at AMC will be presided over by NTR Health University vice chancellor Dr T Ravi Raju.

On Sunday morning, the actor will attend a symposium at Vizag convention hall near cricket stadium. The following day, he will leave for Vijayawada and meet chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and brief him on the visit to Uddanam and the interaction the Harvard doctors had with the villagers.
