Prepare list of NTR housing beneficiaries, Collector asks officials
District Collector Kartikeya Mishra directed the officials to prepare the list of beneficiaries for NTR Rural and Urban Housing Schemes.
Kakinada: District Collector Kartikeya Mishra directed the officials to prepare the list of beneficiaries for NTR Rural and Urban Housing Schemes.
Speaking in a review meeting at Court Hall in the collectorate with RDOs, municipal commissioners, housing engineers and AP TED CO officials, the Collector ordered the housing engineers to complete the grounding works for NTR Rural and Urban Housing Schemes before August 15 that were sanctioned for 2016-17.
He also directed all the housing officials to take immediate measures to select the eligible beneficiaries for the housing scheme for 2017-18 and 2018-19 which got administrative approval by the government.
He also ordered the project director of housing to put in-charge engineers to work whenever any housing engineer goes on leave. The Collector also directed the PD, housing that they would not stop sanctioning, marking and paying in housing works.
Mishra also ordered the RDOs to prepare village wise pending list for NTR Rural Housing Scheme in Rampachodaravaram, Ramachandrapuram, Kakinada and Amalapuram revenue divisions. He also directed the deputy director of MEPMA to tour in all municipal areas and complete the beneficiary list within ten days.
Mishra said they have so far received 2,861 applications from Rajamahendravaram, 935 from Peddapuram,773 from Samalkot, 875 from Gollaprolu, 2,145 from Yeleswaram, 2,114 from Mummidivaram and 1,015 from Mandapeta municipalities for housing scheme.
Trainee-collector Anand, PD Housing Visveswara Prasad, Kakinada Municipal Commissioner Aleem Basha, RDOs, Housing DEs and assistant engineers participated.
