Importance of breast feeding stressed
Helapuri Diamonds Lions club started a campaign on the importance of breast feeding in Sriram Nagar area of Sanivarapupeta village on Thursday.

As part of the ongoing breastfeeding week, the Diamonds Lions Club President Peddireddy Pradeep and others distributed nutritious food and milk to the post-partum mothers at Mandal Parishad Elementary school in Sriram Nagar.
Later they visited the hostel of differently abled people in Gavaravaram. Peddireddy Pradeep advised mothers to feed their babies for as long as possible, till children attain 2yrs if possible. Mother milk proved to have best immunity levels.
Lions club also advised importance of mother's health and requested them to take healthy, nutrient food. Lions club Secretary Kadiyala Vijayalakshmi, Zonal Chair Person Vadlapudi Krishna Mohan, Past President Siva Naga Pothuraju, UNV Satyanarayana and others participated in this programme.
