Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu assured the teachers working in model schools in the state on payment of their pending wages for three months after discussing with Centre.
Representatives of teachers’ unions concerned with aided and model schools met Chief Minister at Secretariat on Friday under the leadership of MLC Dr AS Ramakrishna.
They brought to the notice of Chief Minister on non-payment of wages for the past three months to 2200 model school teachers appointed by Centre and asked for his immediate intervention. Naidu, who responded positively has assured of his support and has suggested them to visit Delhi and meet the concerned officials.
