Rajamahendravaram: Under the aegis of Kapu JAC, members of Kapu community have been protesting the government's attitude towards their leader Mudragada Padmanabham in various forms every day, which will be continued until the government allows Padmanabham for undertaking his proposed padayatra.

As a part of it, Mudragada Padmanabham with his supporters protested the attitude of government by closing his mouth with black ribbons at his house in Kirlampudi on Sunday. Meanwhile, many school going children also registered their protest by beating steel plates.

As usual, Mudragada Padmanabham came out from his house to start his padayatra and returned as the police said there is no permission for it.

With this, Padmanabham asked the police with folded hands to accord permission to his padayatra but in vain.
He also questioned police officials, that how many days the government will continue deploying police force in Kirlampudi and various parts of the district. How much amount the government is spending in this regard, he enquired.

He told police officers that he cannot go back on his padayatra and it will be taken up whenever the government withdraw police forces. The government is hurting Kapu community with its step-motherly attitude, he averred.
