Woman commits suicide under mysterious circumstances in Vizag

A married woman committed suicide by hanging herself at her friend's residence in Visakhapatnam.

The victim is identified as Saraswathi who is survived a six -year- old son. The incident came to light after Saraswathi's friend Laxmi came back to her residence to find her hanging to the ceiling fan.

Laxmi, with the help of her friends rushed her to the hospital where doctors declared brought dead. While family members of Saraswathi alleged that Laxmi was involved in the incident, the latter, however stated that she was not in the house when the incident took place.

The police have taken Laxmi into custody and said that further details will be revealed after the post-mortem report.
