The 68th meeting of the City Official Language Implementation Committee (COLIC) was held here on Wednesday. In her opening remarks while welcoming the gathering, COLIC Secretary M Rama Devi appraised them of the progress of the implementation of Hindi in the Railways.
Visakhapatnam: The 68th meeting of the City Official Language Implementation Committee (COLIC) was held here on Wednesday. In her opening remarks while welcoming the gathering, COLIC Secretary M Rama Devi appraised them of the progress of the implementation of Hindi in the Railways.
The agenda of the meeting was presented by M Rama Devi on which all intensive discussions were conducted by the members and the decision taken on the proposed activities to be held for next six months.
Deputy Director Tek Chand made an appeal to them to guide and propagate the official language and spread it across the country. COLIC president Mukul Saran took an active interest in the implementation and activities of COLIC and advocated the support of the offices and the members for the progress of Hindi.
A Bhagyalakshmi, Assistant Director was felicitated on the occasion. Later, prizes were given away to the winners of the Hindi contestants in writing short stories, Hindi scripting, idiomatic writing, slogan writing, Hindi Shubhashitas and Hindi Antakshari by DRM Mukul Saran Mathur and Tek Chand.
