Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank (APGB) employees on Wednesday conducted a road show to familiarise people with the bank’s new product—Pragathi Dhana Lakshmi, a fixed deposit scheme with 7.1 per cent interest, higher than any other bank.

Anantapur: Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank (APGB) employees on Wednesday conducted a road show to familiarise people with the bank’s new product—Pragathi Dhana Lakshmi, a fixed deposit scheme with 7.1 per cent interest, higher than any other bank.

Bank’s regional manager L Jayasimha Reddy said that the minimum amount to be deposited under the scheme is Rs 50,000. He said that the scheme will remain open till December 31 this year. Besides, the deposit scheme, the bank also offers insurance schemes.

He said that the bank is extending loans at a lower interest rate to suit requirements of the customers. Senior managers – N Kameswara Rao and K Sankar Narayana – managers of Medical College, Ambedkar Nagar, main branch, Venugopal Nagar and Vidyut Nagar branches took part in the road show.
