Vizianagaram: YSRCP is likely to face another jolt in the district with MLC K Veerabhadraswamy is likely to join TDP. Previously Bobbili MLA RVSK Rangarao walked out of YSRCP and joined TDP and became minister. As per sources, Swamy is all set for his defection also. Swamy has stronghold in Vizianagaram town and can lead the party on his own here. But due to some internal problems, he is not able to continue there and planning to come out.

It is learnt Swamy has some differences with senior leader Botcha Satyanarayana and he feels that Botcha is intentionally weakening him in this town and it would leads to closure of his political career. As per information, Sujay Rangarao has convinced Swamy and dealt with high command including P Ashok Gajapathi Raju regarding the entry of MLC.

Now everything was prepared for his entry and the process will be completed soon. Exit of Swamy is a great loss to YSRCP as no other leader is having such a stronghold in the area. Now Botcha must take care of the party here and promote some other person in the place of Swamy.

Some other councillors of the town also follow him and join TDP. Sujay is also taking it as prestigious issue and planning to take more leaders into TDP. TDP is planning to weaken as much as it can during the padayatra of YS Jaganmohan Reddy. As part of it Rampachodavaram MLA V Rajeswari had joined TDP and now it’s the turn of Swamy.

Even the in-charge minister of the district Ganta Srinivasarao also recently indicated that some more leaders from YSRCP will join TDP and they are in touch with the TDP high command. Recently Swamy has resigned from North Andhra Coordinator post and to the district president post too. All these consequences are clearly indicating that Swamy will not be with YSRCP anymore.
