Loyola school alumni meet begins in Guntur

Guntur: A three-day 15th “Jesuit Alumni “ meet of Loyola Public School, Nallapadu was inaugurated on Wednesday with a slogan “One for All – All for One.” Alumni province coordinator Fr Rex Angelo SJ inaugurated the meet by lighting the lamp.

Guntur dean Rev Dr Bhagyaiah Chinnabathini and Andhra, Telengana province provincial Rev Fr PS Amal Raj were the chief guests to the event. Speaking on the occasion dean Rev Dr Bhagyaiah Chinnabathini said Jesuit Alumni representatives and South Zone Alumni Congress (JAAI) was a part of worldwide Jesuit Alumni.

He said the JAAI, India is working with the objective of eradicating poverty, safeguarding environment, providing quality education and women empowerment in the country. Rev Fr PS Amal Raj said “our goal should be a better world and everyone should contribute to rebuild a good society.”

Loyola school principal Rev Fr U Anthony, Provincial of South Asia Rev Fr George Pattery, JAAI president Dr Devender Singh, JAAI representatives and students were present. Loyola school students performed cultural programmes on the occasion.
