Minister Kollu applauds staff for success of Janmabhoomi

Vijayawada: Sports Minister Kollu Ravindra has said the Janmabhoomi-MaaVooru programme was successful, and Krishna district stood first among all the 13 districts in the state. Hesaid that the programme was organised as per the guidelines of the Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu.

KolluRavindra was the chief guest at the felicitating programme organised at TummalapalliKalakshetram here on Friday. The officials of Women and Child Welfare department and Village Development authorities in the district organised Grama Sabha programmes successfully, he said.

Joint Collector P Babu Rao explained the progress of JanmabhoomiMaaVooru programme and said that the district could achieve the top position in the state due to sincere efforts by the District Collector.

MLC Ramakrishna said that all the schemes introduced by the government are reaching the beneficiaries through Janmabhoomi programme. State Housing Board chairman Varla Ramaiah said that it was a collective effort of all the officials under the guidance of the Collector to achieve the first place in the state.

ZP Chairperson Gadde Anuradha said that Grama Sabha was held at all the villages and the beneficiaries had received all government schemes, and solving the problems of people, Janmabhoomi had become a platform to solve problems, she said. DRDA project director Chandrashekar, women and child welfare director K Krishna Kumar and other officials were present.
