Food joints make a beeline to city
Hyderabad-based leading food business brands are establishing their outlets in the city one after another. Following the shifting of government employees from Hyderabad to Vijayawada, renowned chain of shops and restaurants are opening their outlets here.

Interestingly, all the popular Hyderabad biryani hotels already launched their branches at various important centres in the city. Similarly, noted sweet shops and restaurants also opened their units and some others are making plans to enter Vijayawada market after the city assumed significance for its proximity to capital city Amaravati.
Now, Hyderabadi biryani is one of the favorite dishes of citizens. Already, several top branded biryani hotels started their franchises in the city. The noted biryani hotels like Paradise, Pista House entered the city market recently. Already, Bawarchi Group launched its unit long ago.

However, all the hotels and restaurants have included the Hyderabadi biryani as one of the important dishes in their menu card. Several hotels display publicity boards outside their outlets that Hyderabad dum biryani is available.
On the other hand, several local businessmen are keen to introduce some other Hyderabad-based food brands in the city. The Hyderabad-based noted sweet shops like Pulla Reddy had already entered the city long ago and Vasireddy Sweets is the latest store to join the bandwagon on Saturday.

U Nirmal, who returned from the US and started Pista House, said that he has close relations with Pista House owners of Hyderabad and opened the franchisee here for providing the same taste of Hyderabad Pista House biryani to people of Vijayawada. He also said the hundreds of food varieties are available in his hotel.
V Rami Reddy native of Vijayawada and currently working in Hyderabad said that Hyderabad biryani is always his favorite dish and said that it would be more popular in the city too.
