Christians participate in ‘Run for Jesus’

Vijayawada: Hundreds of Christians participated in the Run for Jesus organised from Bishop Ajaraiah School to Lutheran Church located on Samba Murthy Road on Saturday. Bishop B Sivaji Raju organised the ‘Run for Jesus’.
Former Vijayawada Bishop Govada Daivaseervadam, Pastor M Prasad and others participated in the Run. Speaking on the occasion, Daivaaseervadam said Easter is a celebration to mark the resurrection of Jesus Christ. He said Jesus Christ sacrificed his life in the service of humanity and guided people how to live. He asked the Christians to follow the path shown by Jesus.
